Known for her tenacity and dedication, Sydney brings an eagerness to learn and a positive attitude to every performance she is in. She is honored to have played a range of characters from Shakespeare (Titania) to old ladies (such as Mrs.Tilford).

She has a focus on Shakespeare and delving more into his works. Thanks to her BFA she is passionate about voice work, especially using the Fitzmaurice method she trained in.

In addition to her stage work, she has also worked with ‘The West Side ShowRoom’ in Rockford, IL in stage management for their production of The Vampire Lesbians of Sodom by Charles Busch. She credits the WSSR with showing her the power of theatre on a community and the joy it can bring to audiences that have never seen a show.

Sydney Hamill is thrilled to be working with RWS Global for Hershey’s Unwrapped at Hershey’s World in Hershey, PA, where she will play Ms.Allison while understudying for Doc. Chocolate. She looks forward to continuing to share her passion for theatre with audiences far and wide.
